Powerful notebooks love fresh air. While cooling concepts that rely on a lot of air for cooling are often directly integrated in the area of gaming notebooks, this is not found in the more lifestyle-oriented power notebooks. In the search for better air cooling for my notebooks, I tried out a few things, fiddled around and in the end I'm happiest with "The Cool Base". You can see why and how it works exactly in the video.
It is a system consisting of fan mount + fan + frame , which gives you all the freedom to design it to suit you.
  • Frame Medium consisting of three parts screwed together
  • No fan or fan holder included

The frame - medium - is ideal for notebooks 14" - 15" and I also like to put my 13" notebook on it.

About this stuff

I rely on Prusament PETG for all components that have to be stable and elastic. For example with clamps. Printing with this material is very reliable and the material is not as expensive as other materials. That's why I tend to use it for almost everything that doesn't require structural rigidity or would even be a hindrance. The good properties during production have a positive effect on the price. The high-gloss surface looks more plastic than other matt materials.

This material does not have a fixed color and is more likely to be described as a warm brown black. It is made from PETG leftovers.
